One of the key aspects of the ❤️ new law is the taxation of sports betting companies and online betters. The government expects to raise at least 10 ❤️ billion reais, and two percent of the revenue will be destinated to the Social Security contribution. The law also establishes ❤️ the veto of the president over the exemption of IR (Income Tax) for winnings up to 2.112 reais in sports ❤️ betting. This means that anyone who wins more than 40,000 reais in sports betting between January 1, 2024, and December ❤️ 31, 2024, must declare their winnings.
